Office of Consumer Affairs

Sometimes being able to talk to someone who knows just how you feel is very important. Peer support can make a difference in your recovery. Education can help you learn about your care plan. NFBHP's Consumer Affairs program has a Recovery and Resiliency focus. Our Recovery staff members have one focus. They support member activities in the field.

Consumer Affairs Coordinators

The consumer affairs staff members are people who have lived with similar issues. They understand what other members are going through and can offer a valuable point of view. They start member support groups. They host annual events. One of these events is Celebrate Mental Health Month. They also host many other events with a Recovery & Resiliency focus. We support members who share their recovery success stories at these events.

The Consumer Affairs Coordinator for NFBHP is Kristi Krug. She can be reached at (352) 383-7506, or cell (352) 459-4208.
